Brain Tumour Alliance Australia (BTAA)

Brain Tumour Alliance Australia (BTAA) is the only national brain tumour patient and caregiver organisation in Australia.  While welcoming the advice and input of specialists, BTAA seeks to represent the brain tumour community from the viewpoint of the patient, family and caregiver.



 BrainLink Services is a Victorian based service that is dedicated to improving the quality of life of people affected by acquired disorders of the brain, by providing support to their families and carers.  


Brain Tumour Ahoy Hoy.

 Brain Tumour Ahoy Hoy is for people who currently or previously had a low grade brain tumour. This group provides a safe harbour to drop anchor, where you can laugh cry & just be your self.  My mission is to provide information, support and awareness in a caring, positive environment.

Beyond Blue

beyondblue is a national, independent, not-for-profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, anxiety and related disorders in Australia. The have a fact sheet specifically on Brain Tumours and depression.


Cancer Council Victoria 

Cancer Council Victoria website has information about brain tumours, dignosis, caring for someone with a brain tumour, coping and treatments.    

Robert Connor Dawes Fund

RCD Fund - In memory of Robert Connor Dawes, who passed away in April 2013, after a 16 month battle with a brain tumour. This fund is supporting brain matters in areas of Research, Care and Development.

International Brain Tumour Alliance

The International Brain Tumour Alliance (IBTA) was established in May 2005. It seeks to be an alliance of the support, advocacy and information groups for brain tumour patients and carers in different countries and also includes researchers, scientists, clinicians and allied health professionals who work in the area of brain tumours



Lifeline provides access to crisis support, suicide prevention and mental health support services.

 A convenient, single entry point for health, social and welfare payments and services. Depending upon your situation you may be eligible for support payments or services.


Peace of Mind Foundation

Peace of Mind Foundation - a non profit organisation created to help provide financial aid and hands on support to brain cancer patients and their families  


The Art of Andrew Seiker

Andrew Sieker is an emerging artist based in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. His work varies between abstract pattern and expressions, sculpture, and pen and ink illustrations. Andrew designed the Grey Matters logo!

PNET Cancer Foundation

The PNET Cancer Foundation is a not for profit organisation that is focused on increasing research into CNS PNET cancer. The Foundation aims to raise awareness of CNS PNET cancer, become a global body of knowledge, and accelerate research to develop better treatments and an eventual cure.


Isabella and Marcus Foundation

Isabella and Marcus lost their lives to a little known brain tumour called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). Mission: To fund Australian research into paediatric brainstem tumours with a focus on DIPG.
